Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Pay: £13.68 per hour (while temp then £13p/h once perm)
Hours: Full-time & Part-time Available
Contract: Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

We’re looking for dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our friendly team in Stroud. You’ll be supporting adults with a variety of complex needs, including:
1. Autism and ADHD
2. Learning Disabilities
3. Mental Health Conditions
4. Behaviours that Challenge
Working across residential homes and supported living services, you’ll provide personalised, one-to-one care that changes lives for the better.
Shift Patterns:
Early: 7am 2:30pm
Late: 2:30pm 10pm
Long day: 7am 10pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
5. Supporting daily routines, personal care, and medication
6. Encouraging independence and life skills development
7. Helping people take part in meaningful activities and community life
8. Building strong, positive relationships with service users
9. Creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment
10. Tailoring your approach to each individual’s unique needs
What We’re Looking For:
11. Minimum 6 months’ experience in Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Complex Needs support
12. A full UK driver’s licence (essential for accessing rural services)
13. MAPA or PMVA training (we can provide this if required)
14. Empathy, patience, and a calm approach
15. Strong communication and teamwork skills
