Lead Recruitment & Resource Consultant for Skilled Trades – East Kilbride | Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days from home) | Circa £45,000 + benefits
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading engineering business specialising in the design and delivery of large-scale water treatment systems for the global energy market. This role is technical and documentation focused, supporting complex projects delivered to offshore production facilities worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing, reviewing and approving Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation
* Managing and coordinating third-party QC inspectors at vendor and fabrication sites around the world
* Liaising with clients, suppliers and certification bodies to ensure compliance and resolve quality issues
* Reviewing vendor documentation, approving FATs, and signing off mechanical completion records
* Supporting internal teams to maintain ISO 9001 quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for:
* Proven Quality Engineering/Assurance background in an engineered product or complex project environment (energy, process, pharma, nuclear, manufacturing, oil & gas etc.)
* Confident liaising with clients, suppliers and third-party inspection agencies
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
This is a hybrid role based in East Kilbride working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Salary is circa £45,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits.
