We are seeking a meticulous and organised Conveyancing Secretary to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of property transactions are handled efficiently and accurately. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Enter, update and maintain client data held on our case management system (Proclaim)
* To type document and correspondence from notes or dictation, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
* Manage the diary of the Fee Earner you are responsible for
* Open & Distribute post
* Keep clients files in order and up to date
* Answer the phone/take messages where appropriate
* To meet & greet visitors at the office
* To take notes at meetings as needed
* Maintain office stationery supplies & order as appropriate
* Keep all areas of work and meeting rooms tidy
* General clerical/office admin
Qualifications
* Proven administrative experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Strong typing skills with experience in audio typing being advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client interaction.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
