Job Description
Job Purpose:
Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior PAS Compliance Manager in the expanding realm of whole house retrofitting. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to lead operational excellence and advance our mission to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in residential properties. The Senior PAS/Technical Manager will oversee the technical and design teams nationwide, managing survey, design, and retrofit coordination processes in compliance with PAS2035 systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Resource Management and Staffing: Ensure optimal staffing levels across CCS service delivery sites by actively managing and coordinating team resources.
2. Drive accountability: Promote a performance-driven culture supporting effective and timely service delivery.
3. Operational Leadership and Training: Lead, coach, and support Design and Coordination Managers to execute processes and reporting seamlessly in compliance with CCS standards and PAS2035. Oversee ongoing training initiatives to empower managers and ensure high-quality service.
4. Customer Experience Excellence: Cultivate and maintain a top-tier customer experience across all client engagements and internal teams, aiming to exceed expectations and uphold CCS's reputation. Monitor and refine interactions, touchpoints, and workstreams to enhance satisfaction and design quality.
5. End-to-End Process Management: Oversee and improve company processes to streamline design and coordination services from initiation to completion. Ensure documentation within the operations manual is current and accessible. Continuously improve presentation, document control, and reporting internally and externally.
6. Financial Oversight: Be accountable for financial forecasts, budgeting, and P&L of the operations department, managing resources for efficiency and growth. Partner with finance to monitor expenditures, revenue, and profitability.
7. Strategic Meeting and Action Management: Coordinate and manage senior meetings, set agendas, enforce follow-ups, and track progress on strategic initiatives.
8. Compliance and Contract Management: Ensure all contracts meet CCS standards, promote consistency, and implement corrective actions as needed.
9. Client Relationship Management: Lead client meetings, serve as a primary contact for escalations, and build strong, trust-based relationships.
10. Team Development and Performance Management: Support staff appraisals, recruitment, disciplinary processes, and develop training and mentoring initiatives.
11. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strengthen collaboration between operational and PAS/design teams, support staff CPD, and align on shared goals.
12. Continuous Improvement in Reporting and Technology: Enhance client reporting, WIP tracking, and IT interfaces for better accuracy and efficiency. Promote internal communication and clear reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
* High-level quality management and business process management experience.
* Formal training or qualification in Quality Management or Business Management.
* Refresher training in ED&I, customer service, safeguarding, and H&S.
Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years as an operational lead.
* Experience in construction, refurbishment, or the built environment.
* Proven leadership, team development, and accountability skills.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and client relationship skills.
* Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Experience with QMS or process-driven systems and document control.
