You'll play a vital role in maximising equipment performance, supporting continuous improvement projects, and contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of site operations.The Job You Will Do:Provide emergency breakdown support to production machinery and equipmentConduct regular planned maintenance as per the maintenance scheduleSupport the UK Engineering Manager with engineering projects, including design, specification, purchasing, and installationCarry out mechanical and electrical repairs across a wide range of production and support equipmentMonitor equipment performance, identifying and resolving recurring issuesMaintain accurate records for all maintenance activitiesAssist with external contractors and service engineers, ensuring adherence to safety standardsEnsure all work aligns with company Health & Safety, ISO 14001, and other internal and external compliance standardsTake part in initiatives to improve downtime, efficiency, and health and safetyMaintain a clean, organised and hazard-free work environmentAbout You:Ideally HNC qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred)Recognised time-served apprenticeship in Engineering MaintenanceNVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Operations or equivalentProven maintenance experience in a factory/manufacturing environment (essential)Post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role (desirable)Knowledge ofMotors, drives, PLCs, gearboxes, transmissionsStrong team player with proactive attitudeExcellent initiative and problem-solving skillsAble to prioritise and adapt to changing schedulesStrong attention to detail and accuracyConfident communicator across all levels and departmentsTPBN1_UKTJ
