Responsibilities
* Oversee the housekeeping department and team, ensuring all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and well‑maintained.
* Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet health and safety standards.
* Lead, mentor, and support the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
* Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain and improve cleanliness standards.
* Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
* Build positive relationships with residents and staff, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate team members.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* A genuine passion for creating a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
