About TP Tutors
TP Tutors partners with schools and families to provide meaningful academic support to students who are falling behind or need tailored 1:1 help. Many of our learners have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), so we’re especially keen to hear from tutors who are open to, or experienced in, working with SEND learners.
You’ll work locally to Loughton, and surrounding areas, either delivering in-person sessions at homes, schools or alternative provisions—or supporting learners online.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver engaging, personalised tuition in Maths, English, or core subjects
• Support learners 1:1 or in small groups, including those with SEND
• Tailor lessons to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style
• Foster a calm, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
• Track progress and communicate with families and schools where needed
Who We’re Looking For
• People with experience in education: tutors, TAs, mentors, unqualified teachers, or support staff
• Confident in supporting primary or secondary-aged learners
• Open to working with SEND learners
• Able to travel locally
• Positive, flexible communicators who are passionate about helping young people succeed
You don’t need to be a qualified teacher—but relevant experience is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
