My client, a well‑established and design‑driven architectural practice, is looking to appoint a talented Architect to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking projects from concept through to completion, contributing both creatively and technically within a collaborative studio environment.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of projects across a range of sectors, working from early concept development through to technical stages and on‑site coordination. The position involves producing high‑quality design work, preparing detailed drawing packages, and managing project information.
You’ll be responsible for running projects day‑to‑day, liaising with clients, consultants and contractors, and ensuring that work progresses in line with programme requirements. A strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and contract types will be essential, as will the ability to communicate ideas clearly, both visually and verbally. You’ll also contribute to presentations, design reviews and internal discussions, bringing creativity, problem‑solving ability and a practical mindset to the team.
About You
1. RIBA Part III qualified Architect with experience in UK practice
2. ARB or RIBA registered
3. Minimum of 3 years’ post‑qualification experience
4. Strong conceptual and design skills with excellent attention to detail
5. Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD software
6. Experience running projects from concept through to completion
7. Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and statutory requirements
8. Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal
9. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation abilities
10. Strong planning and time‑management skills
11. A solutions‑focused approach with the ability to problem‑solve effectively
12. Genuine interest in sustainable and environmental design
