Salary: £85 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Harborne on a long-term basis. The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to support pupils across a range of year groups, with a particular focus on either class-based support, small group interventions, or 1:1 support, depending on the needs of the school. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive, engaging learning environment and helping to raise standards for all learners.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality support to pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups
* Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities
* Support pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
* Contribute to assessment records and EHCP reviews (where applicable)
* Prepare resources and assist with classroom organisation
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to raise achievement
What We’re Looking For
* A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
* A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* An understanding of safeguarding and the importance of inclusion
* A passion for helping children thrive—both academically and personally
