Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator London (with travel across the UK and Eire, including to priests’ residences, care homes, and our client’s offices) The Organisation Our client is a faith-based charity. They seek to positively impact the lives of all members of society. They are now looking for a Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. The Role As a Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will act as an advocate and advisor for the welfare of sick and retired priests, ensuring they receive high-quality, dignified, and appropriate support. Specifically, you will oversee care and support packages for priests, and determine whether provision meets required standards. You will not be required to deliver any direct care. By liaising with committees, external agencies, healthcare professionals, and insurers, you will help priests navigate complex health and social care systems, serving as an advocate for them and representing their needs. You will ensure the right combination of pastoral, practical, and clinical support is in place, conducting holistic care needs assessments and making recommendations to improve quality when needed. Additionally, you will: - Provide pastoral guidance and practical assistance for priests - Liaise with external health, social care, and pastoral support partners - Manage financial processes related to care arrangements - Ensure all care practices uphold safeguarding and GDPR About You To be considered as a Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will need: - To be a currently registered nurse (adult/general or psychiatric/mental health), or recently retired and still on the register as retired (or equivalent recognised qualification) - An extensive understanding of what constitutes good care, with experience evaluating or advising on care/support packages within care home, community, or hospital settings - Strong pastoral, counselling, or welfare support experience - A full, valid driving licence and the willingness to travel regularly Due to the nature of the work and the need to provide personal and pastoral support in sensitive environments, this post is restricted to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. You will also need to pass an enhanced DBS check. The closing date for this role is 5th December 2025.
