As Associate Client Director, you will initially support smaller or less complex client requirements and develop across the breadth of the Client Director remit. With support from Senior Client Directors, you will identify and implement commercial development strategies and work with Portfolio Operations Officer to implement operational effectiveness plans across an allocated portfolio of clients to achieve targeted commercial outcomes and mitigate risk.
This hybrid position allows you to work from the Aptia office in Edinburgh and from your home address.
What you’ll be doing
* Account management of a specified number of clients.
* Oversee day‑to‑day client and operational activities of accounts based on agreed KPIs.
* Understand and meet client needs effectively, manage risks and adhere to procedures.
* Lead the growth of the portfolio of clients’ revenue and contribution lines aligned with internal targets.
* Drive service delivery to meet and exceed operational KPIs.
* Ensure client retention and avoid attrition.
* Improve operational effectiveness.
* Manage costs and provide necessary financial information for business and audits.
* Operate as a commercial lead for clients, implementing creative financial and contractual constructs.
Requirements
* Understanding of the complexities of pension scheme administration.
* DB specialist knowledge.
* Experience working for/with clients in third‑party administration environment.
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
