Job Description:
Our team in Bristol, Swansea, and London Area currently has an opening for a External Account Manager - Food.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual Gross Profit budgets.
* Develop customer relationships using effective sales techniques and company procedures.
* Manage accounts against targets, including face-to-face sales call quotas.
* Source and convert new trading accounts.
* Maintain a sales plan, monitor timelines, and take actions to achieve growth.
* Update, communicate, and negotiate customer pricing as needed.
* Seek new market and product sales opportunities and record projects in CRM.
* Coordinate with TSMs to maximize sales opportunities.
* Monitor competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
* Contribute to industry and product development to maximize sales.
* Complete daily Visit Reports for follow-up actions.
* Assist in managing Working Capital targets, including reducing bad debts.
* Forecast sales and profit for budgeting purposes.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience in B2B Sales is essential.
* Previous experience as an Account Manager, ideally in the Food industry or similar.
* Proven ability to grow sales figures and margins in a competitive market.
