Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Finance Administrator to join our team for a 5-year project with Scottish Power Energy Networks at our new Livingston office.
This permanent, full-time role involves supporting admin, accounts, purchase orders, accounts payable, and payroll processes. Candidates should have experience in similar roles, ideally within the engineering, utilities (gas, electric, water), construction, or housing sectors.
Previous titles may include Finance Assistant, Administration Assistant, Account Coordinator, Admin Supervisor, or Office Manager. We value candidates with diverse experience and skills who can adapt to business needs to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
The working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, based in Livingston. Responsibilities include:
1. Performing general administrative tasks such as answering calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars.
2. Maintaining and updating office records and databases.
3. Assisting in preparing financial reports and documents.
4. Processing invoices and managing accounts payable.
5. Conducting data entry and maintaining accurate financial transaction records.
6. Assisting with payroll processing and employee timekeeping.
7. Coordinating meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
8. Ordering office supplies and managing inventory.
Required skills and knowledge include:
* Proficiency in data entry and accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles is a plus.
