SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs Assist students in developing academic skills and achieving educational goals Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and abilities Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN support or related field Experience working in a school or educational setting Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a school or educational setting Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
