RG Consultancy are working with a successful growing manufacturing business located in Winsford who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a brand-new role created role created to support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day management of the finance department

Role responsibilities
* Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Support budgeting, forecasting and regular variance analysis
* Monitor costs, margins and key performance indicators
* Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations and supporting schedules
* Assist with improving financial processes, systems and internal controls
* Work closely with the wider business to provide financial insight
* Support year-end procedures and audit requirements
* Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the Finance Manager as needed
* Support with training and development of an Accounts Assistant
Person specification
* Proven experience working as an assistant management accountant or a management accountant for 2+ years
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or actively studying to become fully qualified
* Strong systems and IT skills, including advanced MS excel skills
* Experience working within a manufacturing business would be an advantage
* Experience of leading or overseeing a small accounts team would be an advantage but not essential
