Description
The Marketing Manager will hit-the-ground-running as an integral part of the marketing team at Children’s Paradise and its related companies. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the Company's products or services at the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer. Initiating and keeping projects moving to completion will play an important part in this fast-paced position. The Marketing Manager works closely with other departments to help lead and support their marketing efforts and achieve business objectives such as increasing enrollment and customers, retention, and internal employee satisfaction.
Summary of essential job functions:
* Actively participates in marketing department strategy discussions and collaborates with a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media, and photographers/videographers, in the strategic development of advertising, messages and deliverables.
* Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising.
* Monitor and prioritize marketing requests received from the marketing support request system. Track marketing objectives, tasks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that key milestones are met.
* Gathers print and production bids, makes recommendations on vendors then manages project timeline to completion on all various size projects (from flyers, t-shirts, banners to window graphics and custom vehicle wraps, building signage, and everything in between).
* Writes headlines and copy for miscellaneous pieces including flyers, blog, website, advertisements, biographies, nominations, instructions, etc.
* Proofread and edit copy for various marketing pieces, ensuring consistent voice and adherence to brand guidelines. Must have an attention to detail for proofing all projects.
* Prepares marketing reports and presentations with metrics and progress by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
* Assist in maintaining the Children’s Paradise website. As new website is created, support design and development. Assist website development company with website changes.
* Collaborate to help manage social media content calendar and craft blog posts and other content pieces to maintain and optimize SEO for Children’s Paradise website; lead SEO to drive website traffic.
* Design employee and parent newsletter and announcements through Constant Contact and keep database for distribution up to date.
* Prepare weekly electronic advertisements for related businesses to increase customers and sales from existing customers. Building and maintain database.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
* Supports officer, employee or company award nominations and speaking engagements, as needed. May include building or editing PowerPoint presentations.
* Be resource to document imagery and video content needs. This will be a continual need to support all digital and print needs. Manage, curate, and work with the creative to approve these assets for usage.
Additional Info:
This is a full-time position based in Cardiff-by-the-Sea with corporate offices in Vista. Centers and related companies are located throughout San Diego County and travel may be required
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
* BA or MA in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
* A minimum of five years’ experience in marketing or marketing communications, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing platforms.
* Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail and the ability to initiate and take action with little direction.
* Strong management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
