Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights)
Shift Times: 17:45 – 05:45
Salary: £31,962.21 per annum + Overtime + Bonus
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Night HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Melton Mowbray. This is a permanent, full-time position operating trunk runs between Melton Mowbray, EMG and LTG sites.
This is a stable night role offering consistent shifts, overtime opportunities, and performance-related bonuses.
The Role

Trunking runs between Melton Mars site, EMG & LTG
*
Yard shunting duties
*
Strapping and securing your own loads
*
Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
*
Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and on time
*
Adhering to all site rules, transport legislation, and health & safety procedures
This is a straightforward trunking role with minimal handball.
Pay & Benefits

£31,962.21 per annum

42 hours per week (average)

30-minute unpaid break
*
Overtime paid at 1.33 after basic hours

£25–£45 performance-related bonus

Overtime available
*
Stable 4 on 4 off night rota providing strong work/life balance
Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
*
Driver CPC qualification
*
Digital Tachograph Card
*
No more than 6 penalty points
*
