Job Description:
We are offering a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Weeting for a Graduate Civil Engineer who has recently completed their degree and is eager to gain hands-on industry experience within a precast manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for a graduate looking to develop their skills in a practical setting, particularly within the construction and precast concrete sectors. The primary responsibilities will include carrying out post-pour checks on manufactured units, assisting with quality control, and supporting the engineering and production teams to ensure high standards and accuracy across all stages of the manufacturing process.
You'll work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality precast products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform post-pour inspections on precast units to ensure quality and compliance
* Assist in civil engineering and design-related tasks as required
* Collaborate with engineers and factory teams to solve on-site technical issues
* Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements
* Learn and apply industry best practices in precast production and civil design
Qualifications & Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Willingness to work on-site in Weeting and adapt to a manufacturing environment
* Prior internship or work experience in construction, civil engineering, or precast is advantageous
* Open to relocation for the role
