Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
This position seeks a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students across multiple school locations within the district. The role is contract-to-hire, beginning as soon as possible through October 1st, with potential for extension. The workweek is Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
* Implement and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs tailored to students needs.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective behavioral support and progress.
* Monitor student data and adjust interventions accordingly to optimize outcomes.
* Provide training and guidance to school personnel on behavior management strategies to promote positive student development.
Qualifications:
* Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
* Experience working within a school setting preferred, especially supporting K-12 populations.
* Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
* Commitment to student-centered practices and evidence-based interventions.
Location:
* Multiple school sites within the district, located in the Cambridge, MA area.
