We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and data-driven Site Manager to lead growth for Freebets.com, a leading UK sports betting affiliate website.
This role involves leading content, SEO, and brand strategies to establish Freebets.com as a trusted, authoritative resource among sports bettors. You will collaborate with teams across CRO, Product, Design, PR, Social, and Email to enhance authority, relevance, and conversions.
Responsibilities:
* Define and evolve the site vision and roadmap, enhancing content, SEO, and branding.
* Build the brand into a trusted name through high-quality, expert content.
* Implement scalable international SEO strategies responsive to SERP changes and user intent.
* Make data-driven decisions to grow traffic, engagement, and revenue.
* Coordinate with PR, Social, and Email teams to strengthen brand presence.
* Partner with Product, Design, and CRO teams to optimize user experience and testing.
* Maintain high editorial standards, aligning with Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines, and differentiate through original content.
* Develop monetization strategies, including promotional content and campaigns.
* Lead and mentor a team across editorial, SEO, and content creation.
* Shape the future of a major affiliate brand with global ambitions.
* Work with a team focused on innovation and growth, with autonomy to implement strategies.
Requirements:
* Proven senior content or SEO leadership experience at a top affiliate, publisher, or betting brand.
* Strong brand-building skills and a history of transforming content sites into trusted destinations.
* Successful track record of YoY organic traffic and conversion growth.
* Deep understanding of Google’s organic ecosystem, affiliate models, and content strategies.
* Experience working across functions with commercial, creative, tech, and marketing teams.
* Knowledge of sports and betting audiences, from casual to high-value players.
* Proficiency with data and analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush) and translating data into actions.
* Leadership skills with a team-first, results-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication, project management, and multitasking abilities.
Experience & Education:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or related fields.
* At least 5 years of experience, preferably in gambling, betting, or gaming industries.
