We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Conference & Banqueting Assistant at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is located in Nantwich and is one of the most renowned country house hotels in Cheshire. This property blends old-world charm with modern amenities and holds 4 AA Red Star status with notable dining accolades.
Responsibilities
* The role involves supporting the operations within the Conference & Banqueting service area to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
* Responsible for the set-up and take-down of equipment (tables, chairs, props, decorations), ensuring timely delivery and the ability to carry and move heavy items.
* Maintain knowledge of food menu items and availability across all areas including the bar and restaurant.
* Work towards departmental goals, contribute ideas, and be open to trying new ways of working. Take personal ownership, operating within role parameters.
* Communicate and delegate in line with business levels and daily functions and events.
* Be inspired, enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team and have a positive, team-focused attitude.
About You
* Passionate about delivering a high level of service and attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities with a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
