A warm, inclusive, and vibrant Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, committed to supporting children and young people with a range of complex learning needs is seeking a Lunch Cover Supervisor to join their caring and supportive team.
About the Role:
As a Lunch Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our pupils enjoy a safe, calm, and positive lunchtime experience. Working as part of our wider support team, you will supervise pupils during lunch breaks, assist with transitions, and support individual needs in line with personalised care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise pupils during lunch in dining areas and/or outdoor play areas
* Support students with feeding where necessary (training provided)
* Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
* Maintain a calm and inclusive environment in line with our school ethos
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
* Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic
* Reliable and committed to supporting children with additional needs
* Able to communicate effectively with both pupils and colleagues
* A team player with a flexible approach
* Previous experience in an SEN setting or with children is desirable, but not essential
