Lead Gas Engineer

Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, representing our brand for individuals concerned about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to emergencies, sometimes coordinating with emergency services, to protect people's lives.
* Assist vulnerable, elderly, or help-seeking customers, demonstrating empathy and care.
* Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial customers.
* Conduct high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys.
* Fit cooker safety valves and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Experience and Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* CCN1 or CMA1 qualification required.
* MET1 qualification is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience with gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning.
* Understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety regulations.
* Full UK driving licence.
