Senior Estimator - Telford Are you an experienced estimator ready to take the lead on high-value construction projects? A well-established building and civil engineering contractor in Telford is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team. You'll be working on a wide range of projects from commercial offices and industrial units to residential and retirement developments, helping to shape accurate, competitive bids that win work and drive profitability. What You'll Do Take ownership of the estimating process from initial tender to final submission. Lead and support a small team of estimators, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Prepare cost plans, Bills of Quantities, and risk assessments for projects up to £30 million. Review drawings, specifications, and site information to spot opportunities for efficiency and value engineering. Work closely with architects, QSs, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth handover of estimates. Influence decisions on construction methods and pricing strategies to maximise commercial advantage. Who We're Looking For Proven main contractor estimating experience across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Comfortable leading tenders from start to finish and mentoring junior team members. Knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts, with NEC experience a bonus.
