Management Accountant

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely management reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving financial processes.
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
* Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
* Deliver insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
* Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
* Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring compliance with policies and standards
* Support statutory audit and external reporting processes
* Review and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
* Partner with operational and commercial teams including product, marketing, and sales
* Assist with cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and cost analysis
* Drive finance system improvements and automation initiatives
Management Accountant Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience
* 3–5 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally within management accounting
* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
* Ability to present complex data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and collaborative approach
Desirable:
* Experience in travel, hospitality, or leisure industry
* Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and reporting tools
* Knowledge of VAT and compliance in multi-entity or cross-border environments
