My client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of packaging based in Cambridgeshire. As a privately owned family business, they have grown quickly over the last 10 years and continue to be at the forefront of packaging innovation and design. As an Electrical-Bias Multi-Skilled Engineer your role will be to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns across the manufacturing facility. Working closely with other departments on a variety projects and process improvements. Day to Day Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Leading electrical fault finding on machinery, control panels, sensors, and drives * Supporting mechanical maintenance including conveyors, bearings, belts, and gearboxes * Identifying and implementing improvements to increase reliability and efficiency * Conducting site assessments and recommending remedial actions * Minimising downtime and ensuring smooth dayto-day operations * Assisting with installation and commissioning of equipment when required * Supporting general site/building maintenance when required, with shop floor machinery as the main priority Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
