Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
Location: Croydon, London
Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm)
Pay: Weekly - £425-£525
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs? Do you have experience working with children with Autism, ASD, PMLD, and SLD or a background in personal care? If so, we would love to have you join a Primary School based in Croydon we are working with!
Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to students with Autism, ASD, PMLD, and SLD across either primary and secondary levels.
* Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Support students in developing social skills and independence.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications or significant experience working with children with Autism, ASD, PMLD, and SL or strong background in personal care.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the classroom.
* Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
