Salary: Up to £27,000 pa (fte salary pro-rata'd to match hours worked)
Location: Office-based (Saltney), with occasional care delivery across Cheshire West & Flintshire
Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dedicated and ambitious Senior Carer to join our supportive and growing team. This full-time or part-time, salaried position offers a blend of office-based responsibilities and hands-on care when needed, providing a fantastic opportunity to transition into a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and independence.
Mentor and support new care staff, fostering a culture of best practice and professional growth.
Monitor and support compliance with company policies and care standards.
Maintain accurate and timely care documentation and compliance records.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide hands-on care when needed to maintain continuity for clients. Requirements:
Compassionate, friendly, and proactive with a dependable nature.
Previous homecare experience (a senior title is not required).
Willing to work alternate weekends.
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred or working towards).
Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota (one weeknight and one weekend in four). Desirable:
Familiarity with CQC regulations and quality standards.
Experience in a supervisory or senior care role. Benefits:
