Element Health and Safety Advisor Role
Element offers an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to support its Connected Technologies business across the United Kingdom. This role involves partnering with local management teams to implement the Element SHE program and working closely with the Divisional Director and Connected Technologies SHE Director. Frequent travel to various sites including Malvern, Abingdon, Guildford, Skelmersdale, and Hull is required.
Responsibilities
* Integrate SHE program into daily operations
* Understand roles and responsibilities, ensuring resources are in place
* Provide guidance and critical challenge
* Support creation, monitoring, and reporting on improvement plans
* Support local focal points
* Facilitate audits and management system reviews
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and SHE program requirements
* Identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices
* Communicate effectively across all levels
Qualifications
* Degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Management, Risk Management, Occupational Safety, or related fields, or equivalent experience
* Strong understanding of local safety, health, and environmental laws
* 2-4 years of relevant experience
* Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and specifications
* Proficient in writing reports and correspondence
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to analyze safety data and exposure limits
* Problem-solving skills
* Ability to interpret instructions and data
* Valid driver's license
