Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation/Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be proficient in installation and maintenance. The installations will be ceiling track hoists installed on either walls or ceilings and therefore the successful candidate should be able to work in loft spaces and at height. Maintenance will be carrying out routine service and LOLER inspections to mobile and ceiling hoists. In addition the role will be servicing other mobility products such as profile beds, pressure mattresses and pumps. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. As an Installation/Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our systems are installed correctly and function optimally. The successful candidate will be required to join our on call rota providing out of hours cover to our contract partners. Full training will be provided along with company van, telephone and uniform.
Responsibilities
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks.
* Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with manufacturers specifications.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients post-installation.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise installation processes and improve service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in similar installation or technical support roles will be an advantage.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
