About the Role
Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, offering a wide variety of shift patterns to fit students’ lifestyles. Weekend working is a requirement of the role, but shifts will be flexible to match your availability.
Responsibilities
* Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
* Drive awareness of extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
* Support the Pharmacist with the delivery and effective record‑keeping of patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
* Develop a thorough understanding of the strict Standard Operating Procedures and consistently apply them.
* Collect customers’ prescriptions from their doctor's surgery on their behalf and bring them ready for collection.
* Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then progress to training as a Dispensing Assistant.
About You
* You are naturally friendly, highly organised, and eager to get stuck in.
* You have good computer skills, attention to detail, and communicate well with customers.
* You love problem‑solving and are passionate about helping people, providing a great healthcare experience, and chatting with customers to find what they need.
