🌍 About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Officer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking environmental consultancy team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, regulatory compliance, and hands-on environmental management.
You'll play a key role in supporting waste enforcement, licensing, auditing, and environmental inspections — ensuring that all projects and operations meet Irish and EU environmental standards. The position offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in environmental compliance while developing your technical and professional skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.
🔎 Key Responsibilities:
 * Support waste enforcement and environmental inspections across a range of projects and client sites.
 * Assist in the preparation, review, and management of environmental licences, permits, and compliance documentation.
 * Conduct site audits and prepare environmental monitoring reports in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
 * Liaise with local authorities, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure ongoing compliance.
 * Contribute to environmental assessments and consultancy projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
 * Maintain accurate records and assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance environmental performance.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills:
 * Level 8 degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
 * Full, clean Irish/EU manual driving licence (essential).
 * Strong understanding of Irish and EU environmental legislation and waste regulations.
 * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
 * Eagerness to learn, develop, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
