Hightown has a proud history of building and providing social housing as well as supporting our customers and communities across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire. We currently own and manage 9,300 affordable homes, providing services to over 19,000 customers, and each year we provide care and supported housing for nearly 800 individuals. We are ambitious, adaptable and driven by our deep-rooted social purpose. Our inclusive and supportive culture underpins our mission: Building homes. Supporting people. Known for our dedication and strong performance, we have ambitious plans to deliver 10,000 homes by 2027. We are G1/V2 rated and employ over 1,000 people with an annual turnover of £121m. Our customers are at the heart of all we do at Hightown. With a person-centred approach we support our customers to maintain stable housing and build thriving communities. As one of the region’s leading care and support providers our services support those with learning difficulties, mental health problems and we also house and support those experiencing homelessness and asylum seekers. Following the retirement of our longstanding finance leader, our new CFO will be an active member of the Executive Team, providing strategic financial expertise and working collaboratively across the organisation and with key stakeholders. The CFO will shape the financial strategy, driving Hightown’s ability to invest and grow, and support the delivery of the business plan by ensuring effective finance resource planning and reporting. This is an important leadership position and will contribute to Hightown’s effective navigation of what is an increasingly complex operating environment, and ensuring we build a stronger focus on our existing customers and homes.
