Talent and Development Partner - 12 Month Maternity Cover
Salary: c. £42,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Talent and Development Partner who will join our HR team. The role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing programs and initiatives aimed at developing talent and leadership capabilities.
What the role will look like:
* Partnering closely with stakeholders, teams, senior management, and department heads to identify capability needs, including training, talent development and succession planning.
* Conducting TNA’s to identify skill gaps and developmental needs – including analysing performance reviews, feedback, and organisational goals.
* Creating and designing training programs tailored to the needs of the workforce – covering leadership development, team building, change management, strategic planning, and more.
* Conducting training sessions, workshops and learning interventions to create an interactive learning environment guided by the 70:20:10 approach.
* Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and post-training evaluations.
* Providing one‑on‑one coaching or mentorship and offering guidance on specific challenges, career development, or leadership skills improvement.
* Managing organisational changes by preparing managers to handle transitions, new responsibilities or shifts in Society strategies.
* Using data analytics to track and measure the impact of development initiatives on key performance indicators and overall organisational success.
* Designing and introducing effective development opportunities for ‘High Performance High Potential Talent’, including mentoring (face‑to‑face & online), project opportunities and coaching programmes.
What you will bring to the role:
* Must have experience in a Management/Leadership Development Training role within a commercial environment.
* Must hold a L&D, OD or CIPD qualification or equivalent.
* Experience influencing at senior levels on introducing and driving new development initiatives across the organisation.
* Ability to gain credibility amongst Executive and Senior Managers.
* Excellent delivery and presentation skills with confidence to deliver to Senior Managers.
* Experience dealing with resistance to change by gaining buy‑in, motivating and engaging those involved.
* Key planning, project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
