About the Company
Our client is a leader in fresh produce, supplying high-quality vegetables such as carrots, parsnips, beetroot, turnips, artichokes, and potatoes. With strong environmental and social values, they are expanding rapidly and need skilled engineers to join their growing team.
Your Role
* Perform planned preventative maintenance and servicing on plant machinery during day shifts.
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns efficiently.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering.
* Keep accurate engineering logs, documenting repairs, faults, and equipment performance.
* Ensure smooth shift handovers by providing detailed reports to the night team.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a production or warehouse environment, ideally on day shifts.
* Strong expertise in PLCs and electrical control fault-finding.
* Hands-on engineering skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with engineers and other departments.
