A welcoming primary school in Hayle is seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with SEN and 1:1 experience to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school environment, helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
Your Role Will Include
* Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (term-time only)
* Providing in-class support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
* Delivering 1:1 support for pupils with SEN needs and EHCPs
* Leading small group interventions tailored to pupil progress
* Supporting classroom organisation, behaviour routines, and learning resources
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to meet individual needs
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
* Has proven SEN support experience within a school setting
* Experience delivering 1:1 support with primary-age learners
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and patient, with a positive approach to learning
* Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
* A current DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
