Aircraft Structure Quality Inspector - Belfast CLIENT One of Northern Ireland's most prominent aerospace manufacturers. It specialises in the design, testing, manufacture and assembly of complex composite and metallic aerostructures, including wings, fuselages, nacelles, and flight control components. The Ideal Person Applicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment. An HNC or equivalent qualification is desirable. However, applicants with lesser qualifications and additional relevant knowledge and experience will be considered. The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is essential. Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements and have at least 3 years previous experience in the aerospace industry. Responsibilities Carrying out product inspections and Quality Control / Quality Assurance activities on Aircraft structures. Ensuring product compliance with design, customer and regulatory authority requirements and regulations. Providing instruction and advice to operators as and when required. Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme. Working flexibly in groups and on shifts.
