* We are looking for an experienced and reliable *Vehicle Mechanic* to join our busy workshop team. The successful candidate will carry out inspections, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards of safety and quality. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, recommending effective solutions, and ensuring all work meets DVSA and manufacturer specifications.*Key Responsibilities** Perform scheduled servicing, repairs, and MOT preparation on cars and light commercial vehicles.* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.* Replace or repair parts as required, ensuring quality and efficiency.* Conduct safety checks and road tests to verify repair quality.* Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets.* Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain a clean, organised workspace.* Liaise with service advisors and customers to explain issues and recommended repairs clearly.*Requirements** Minimum 3 *years’ experience* as a qualified vehicle mechanic or technician in a professional workshop.* *NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)* in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.* Experience with a wide range of makes and models.* Full UK driving licence.Must have at least 4 years experience as a mechanicJob Type: Full-timePay: £35,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
