Overview
My client is looking to strengthen their sales team with the key appointment of a Sales Professional to be responsible for the company’s residential businesses, calling on flooring retail showrooms and merchants across the Central Belt of Scotland – Glasgow, Edinburgh PA, G, KA, DG, ML, EH & TD postcodes.
Responsibilities
* Developing relationships with independent retailers and merchants and understand their business needs.
* Account management and new business development.
* Understand the company’s products, willing to learn and evolve with the role.
* Fulfil administrative tasks such as monthly reports, CRM updates and expenses in a timely fashion.
* Meet financial, product, administrative and behavioural targets.
* Manage brand penetration within sales territory.
* Able to take initiative and solve problems.
* Identify opportunities for the company’s portfolio of products.

Key Skills/Experience Required
* The ideal candidate will have a driving license and someone who is looking for a long term career with a respected market leader.
* If you have experience selling products to the independent retailers or merchants in the floorcoverings or a related sector ceramic tiles, commercial interiors we would love to speak with you.
Ideally You Will Have The Following Skills
* Collaborative in approach, a team player, end goal focused, persistent, ability to work towards longer term objectives, strong verbal ability, able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, organised, self motivated, numerate and analytical, ability to work autonomously and in team environment.
