Job overview
Oxford Medical Illustration supports teaching, research, and digital communication services across the Trust and the University of Oxford. In this role, you will operate and troubleshoot the Trust’s main lecture theatres and teaching spaces, providing technical support to staff and learners. Your responsibilities will include operating visual and audio systems, managing live streams and recordings, coordinating audiovisual support bookings and training users. You will also assist with audiovisual productions for clinical and educational purposes.
Main duties
Provide audiovisual and related IT support services in teaching areas under service‑level agreements for meetings, lectures and conferences. Record or live‑stream lectures using built‑in equipment, edit recordings, archive and distribute them, and obtain necessary consents. Coordinate audiovisual support bookings, confirm requests via email and telephone, and produce user guides. Work with conference organisers to ensure programmes run smoothly, and respond to on‑site issues. Ensure equipment functions correctly and users are trained. Report maintenance issues and faults to the appropriate teams and submit weekly maintenance reports.
Qualifications and experience
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant area.
* Technical test at interview.
