Job Description
This role involves site management and supervision to ensure safety, quality, performance, and profitability are maintained. Responsibilities include managing all site operations, implementing quality control processes, engaging with stakeholders, and managing risks related to health, safety, quality, and environment.
Main Duties
* Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders, providing progress reports, photos, and risk logs.
* Manage material take-offs, ordering, storage, and site stock.
* Review reports, designs, and drawings, offering practical feedback.
* Coordinate with site teams to address challenges and implement solutions.
* Use company software to record progress, snagging, and checklists.
* Manage contract programmes and produce updates.
* Report on project operations, including safety, labour, and opportunities.
* Handle subcontractor documentation and site safety performance.
* Lead and motivate the workforce, ensuring site welfare and security.
* Maintain daily site diaries, equipment, materials, and security registers.
* Ensure compliance with HSE audits and undertake site inductions and briefings.
Qualifications and Experience
* Construction or Engineering Qualification NVQ Level 3 or higher.
* Relevant CSCS card.
* First aid certification.
* Experience supervising similar projects.
* Leadership and management skills aligned with JCA's brand.
* Knowledge of statutory requirements and processes in construction and engineering.
