As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are looking to bring a Graduate Quantity Surveyor into their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a relevant qualification to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment, working across a range of residential schemes from start to finish. Role Overview The successful candidate will work closely with experienced surveyors and the wider project team, gaining exposure to all aspects of the commercial function, including cost management, procurement, contract administration, and project financial reporting. Key Responsibilities * Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents * Support with the procurement of subcontractors and materials * Monitor project progress and costs, ensuring accurate financial tracking * Assist with valuations, variations, and final account preparation * Work closely with site and project managers to ensure cost-effective delivery * Help maintain accurate commercial records and ensure contractual compliance Requirements * A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial discipline * Strong numeracy and analytical skills * Good communication and organisational abilities * Willingness to learn and develop within a small, professional team * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Must be based locally to Romsey or within a commutable distance * Full UK driving licence preferred (due to potential site visits) What’s on Offer * Competitive salary between £28,000 – £35,000, depending on experience * Structured training and development from experienced professionals * Exposure to a range of residential projects at various stages * Supportive team environment with career progression opportunities * Stability and growth within a well-respected local business
