Salary: £43634.06 - £47119.81 per annum
Hours: 35 per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker / Care Manager to join our forward-thinking Adult Social Work Team within a local authority committed to delivering high-quality services. As part of a dynamic multi-agency team, you will play a key role in case management and our duty system while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need our support through assessment, plans and reviews. You will also become a Council Officer and will lead on Adult Support and Protection case work with oversight from our Adult Protection Unit. We are embracing digital transformation, becoming a paperless service and utilising innovative digital technology to complete assessments, enhancing efficiency and accessibility.

Essential
* Ability to work within a statutory framework
* Experience of outcomes focussed approach to assessment
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Clear value base which includes an understanding of non-stigmatising and non-discriminatory practice
* An awareness of issues which relate to older people, adults with disabilities, mental health, people at risk of harm and those at risk of social exclusion
* Negotiation skills and an ability to work in partnership with service users, carers, colleagues and other agencies
* Experience of risk assessments
