This role is ideal for a proactive and adaptable maintenance engineer with strong electro-mechanical skills and a background in manufacturing. The role requires an engineer with 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance role as well as suitable electrical qualification such as NVQ level 3 within an engineering discipline as a minimum and a wiring regs certificate 17th edition or newer. Key Responsibilities: Perform reactive and planned maintenance on factory machinery to reduce downtime (90% Reactive) Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical, mechanical, Instrumentation and automated PLC systems. As well as working on hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Conduct routine electrical inspections in line with regulatory standards Install, test, and commission new equipment as needed Promote safe working practices and support continuous improvement initiatives. Implemented 5s and Lean principles on a daily basis. This is a rewarding package.
