Senior Area Integration Engineer
Somerset (Fully Site-Based)
Up to £480/day PAYE + 36 days leave / £652.41/day Umbrella (DOE)
Contract to end of year (extension likely)
We're supporting a major UK infrastructure programme delivering a next-generation nuclear facility.
This is a high-impact integration role — not traditional engineering. You'll sit at the heart of delivery, ensuring construction, installation, and commissioning are fully aligned, sequenced, and buildable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive installation & commissioning sequencing across contractors
* Manage interfaces between construction, engineering & commissioning
* Identify risks, clashes & constraints early — and resolve them
* Support 16-week lookaheads with planning teams
* Use tools like Navisworks, Synchro & PowerBI to visualise delivery
What we're looking for:
* 10+ years on large infrastructure / energy / EPC projects
* Strong interface & integration experience
* Background in construction, planning or commissioning environments
* NEC/FIDIC knowledge
* Confident stakeholder management
