Job Purpose We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join our Intermediate Track Team in a dual-capacity role that blends technical expertise with hands-on case management. This position is ideal for a solicitor or CILEX-qualified lawyer with litigation rights who thrives on complex litigation work and enjoys mentoring others. The role encompasses: Case Management: Handling a portfolio of Intermediate Track cases, including litigated matters, ensuring timely progression and resolution aligned with client expectations and business objectives. Technical Leadership: Acting as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support to colleagues across the post-litigation process, while ensuring compliance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of Intermediate Track cases. Provide technical supervision and mentoring to team members and the wider practice. Draft high-quality legal documents, including: Pleadings Interlocutory applications Supporting statements Advise on complex litigation issues, procedural strategies, and risk management. Contribute to team development by sharing best practices and delivering training sessions. Ensure adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance frameworks. Collaborate with management to improve processes and enhance client service delivery. Experience & Knowledge Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with litigation rights. Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively. Strong drafting skills for applications, pleadings, and supporting documentation. Demonstrated experience working to performance targets and KPIs. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of delivering clear, practical guidance. Strong problem-solving ability and commercial awareness. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to team success. Interest in emerging technologies such as AI (desirable but not essential).
