Job Title: Warehouse Operative with RTITB Counterbalance and/or Reach Licence
Pay Rate: £23,809.50 + £1,780.36 Shift Pay = £25,589.86 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours between 07:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
Location: Glasgow, G32 8RH
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
What does the role ent entail?
As part of your normal duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
* Be responsible for picking and packing specified items (Railway Spares) from storage and prepare them for shipment.
* Using Fork Lift Truck to transport items around the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner, loading and unloading wagons.
* Manual handling of items weighing up to 25 kg.
* Processing incoming and outgoing stock using in-house computerised stock control system.
Role requirements
* Current RTITB Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence (essential)
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment
* Basic computer literacy
