Based at Trafford and Stockport College Group, you will be pivotal in the success of the GM Innovation Programme. Are you ready to pioneer innovation and promote business transformation in Greater Manchester? As an Apprenticeship Innovation Ambassador Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in the Greater Manchester Further Education Innovation programme (GMFEIP), which aims to promote innovation and increase productivity across businesses in Greater Manchester.
The primary objective is to equip employed apprentices in local businesses with knowledge and confidence to support innovative practices within their businesses and empower them to become 'Apprentice Innovation Ambassadors'.
* Outreach and employer engagement to develop awareness of the FE Innovation Fund across the local business ecosystem, including the fund's main aims and objectives (adoption and diffusion of innovations).
* Support the engagement of apprentices working across our employer partners (minimum target 10 per GM borough).
* Contribute to developing and testing an innovative training resource for apprentices to become ‘Apprentice Innovation Ambassadors’, increasing the innovation capacity of their host employers.
* Contribute to developing and delivering a CPD programme on ‘Innovation Literacy’ to equip Apprentices with the knowledge and confidence to support their host businesses in innovation adoption.
* Support monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment, and evidence gathering for the project.
* Perform other duties within the scope of the post as required by the line manager.
Working with TSCG, you will collaborate with a fantastic team across the College and engage with all types of employers in the borough to understand their goals, challenges, and aspirations.
