We are recruiting for a Children's Community Clinical Support Worker who shares our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. The Children's Continuing Care Team offers specialised, child‑specific respite services to children and families with complex health needs and profound disabilities across East & North Hertfordshire. Clinical Support Workers independently deliver specialist nursing care within the family home without direct supervision, supported by ongoing training and facilitation from qualified nurses.
Responsibilities
* Independently deliver specialist nursing care at the family's home.
* Manage enteral feeding, tracheostomy care, care of long‑term ventilated children, seizure management, and oxygen administration.
* Collaborate with qualified nurses and follow their guidance, while working without direct supervision.
Qualifications & Training
* Experience or training in child nursing care, including enteral feeding, tracheostomy management, ventilation support, seizure management and oxygen therapy.
* Ability to work independently in a home setting.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing training.
Benefits & Compensation
* High Cost Area Supplement: 5% of basic salary with a minimum £1,136 and a maximum £1,915 per annum pro‑rata.
