This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Site Engineer to step into a leadership role on a high-spec residential development in Co. Louth. With an 18-month project duration, you'll join a well-structured team delivering a project featuring a mix of RC structures, groundworks, and quality housing.
Ideal for someone living in Louth or surrounding counties, this position offers long-term, local work with no need to travel across the country or stay away from home. You’ll be joining an established main contractor with a strong reputation for excellence in delivery and team development.
This role offers the perfect balance of site-based technical leadership, mentoring Junior Engineers, and hands-on engagement with the project team all while benefiting from the career progression that comes with working on a flagship project.

Responsibilities:
* Manage daily activities of subcontractors across multiple trades.
* Support and guide Junior Engineers in their daily duties, ensuring accurate surveying, setting out, and quality control.
* Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager in monitoring progress against the programme, identifying delays or risks early, and helping to re-sequence works to maintain deadlines.
* Liaise with design teams, utility providers, and client representatives to resolve design queries, coordinate service connections, and ensure smooth handovers.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in a Site Engineer/Senior Engineer role with an Irish Main Contractor or Developer.
* Strong setting out skills using GPS and Total Station.
* Confident managing subcontractors and Junior Engineers.
* Experience with RC structures, groundworks, and housing developments.
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect between around the €75,000 + Vehicle + Fuel.
